Apollo is a full-service body-piercing studio at 2625 Main Street, a few blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. We are open every day, 8am to 8pm, and we keep time in the schedule for walk-ins alongside booked appointments.
If you live or work on the Westside, you do not need to drive across Los Angeles for professional needle piercing. Everything we offer at the studio — from a first lobe to a planned multi-piercing ear — is done here in Santa Monica by two senior piercers: Bunny Vogt, who leads our kids and family calendar and covers full adult scope, and Blue Mason, who is Fakir-certified with more than a decade in the chair.
Because we are local, the parts of a piercing that actually matter for healing are easy to keep on track. Your downsize follow-up is a quick stop on Main Street, not a cross-town trip, and if a healing question comes up we would rather you walk back in than guess.

How we work
Needle-only, implant-grade jewelry, every time
Every piercing at our Santa Monica studio is done with a single-use sterile needle — never a piercing gun, which cannot be sterilized between clients and crushes cartilage instead of passing through it cleanly. We install only implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136), solid 14k or 18k gold, or niobium. Your fresh jewelry is sized long to allow for swelling, and a downsize follow-up is built into every piercing so it settles correctly.

Bringing a minor? California law requires a custodial parent or legal guardian present with government photo ID for any piercing on someone under 18. Our age floors are five and up for lobes, with higher minimums for cartilage and other placements — the full policy is on each placement guide.

Do you use a needle or a gun?
