Watch for these signs of rejection: the bar becoming more visible through the skin, the piercing holes appearing closer together over time, red/irritated skin around the piercing, the jewelry sitting at a different angle, or the piercing feeling looser. If you notice any of these signs, contact your piercer immediately. Early intervention can sometimes save a migrating piercing, but if rejection is advanced, removal is the safest choice to minimize scarring.

Christina piercings at Apollo are $200 for the piercing service. Jewelry is sold separately. The price reflects the expertise required for proper placement. Premium gold ends or decorative tops are available at additional cost. Never choose a piercer based on price alone—cheap Christina piercings often use curved barbells (wrong jewelry) and inexperienced piercers.

Aftercare for Christina piercings: Clean 2x daily with sterile saline solution. Avoid tight underwear and clothing that rubs against the piercing. Sleep on your back when possible. Don't submerge in pools, hot tubs, or baths during healing. Avoid sexual activity that puts pressure on the area during initial healing. Never twist, turn, or play with the jewelry. You should avoid sexual activity that puts pressure on the piercing for at least 4-6 weeks, longer if healing is slow. After that, use your judgment—if something causes pain or irritation, stop. Remember, the Christina piercing is purely decorative and sits above the clitoris, so it doesn't enhance sensation during sex. A VCH piercing is the better choice if you're seeking sensation enhancement.
